Is a meeting place for all dogs and their humans who love them.
The intention is to always have a place where you can come with your dog for exercise, socialization and sport. Come in for a class, stay a while for a coffee and conversation with friends.
Ipek Sevgur has dedicated her life to dog rescue, rehabilitation, training and adoption. Hundreds of dogs have been placed into good homes and wonderful lives over the last 25 years because of Ipek and her team of international rescuers. Now, in Hooksett New Hampshire she has opened a place where she can continue to spread healthy training and socialization for both dog and owner.
My name is Ipek Sevgur. This dog agility arena has been my dream project for a long time and finally I feel we've found the best spot. I have been working with horses since 1995 and rescue dogs since 2002. Dog sports became part of my life in 2011 with my old Jack Russell, Whiskey. It came to a point that walking and hiking was not enough for him, he wanted have a job to do with purpose. As a chemical engineer and a chemist having published my papers on animal behavior, it is a scientific fact that the brain activity in animals is totally different than human kind. Their choices are simple and direct. They come from wild life using their instincts. They used to hunt and work for their food and they would organize their appetite to benefit their overall health. Studies show that wolves are still balancing their diets with meat and fruit accordingly to the seasonal changes and body awareness. Because of those similarities, our dogs need purpose in their day to keep their mind clear. This is why it's so important for the owner parents to find brainwork activity suitable for their age, body and character.
I have been rescuing dogs from varies conditions for over 20 years. When we rescue the dogs, the procedure starts from health issues to clear check up. Afterwards, dogs start their basic training to adapt our human life in the best way. Through the years and numerous rescue dogs, I can easily tell that giving the dogs a purpose to daily life is as important as unconditional love we all try to provide.
There is not a problem dog, there is less trained dog or dogs that have not found their activity yet. All dogs are good dogs.
A dog agility arena is a project we all need as dog owners who want only the best for their pups. All dog owners living in New Hampshire battle weather conditions. Winters get too cold and summers too hot. I with my jack Russell terriers like hiking and walking in the forests, but we also like to keep on going with our agility workouts and exercises indoors. Kopek Agility arena is created from exactly this need. We would like to provide the best experience for the dogs and owners, having a 5000 sqft arena to practice agility, obedience, puppy workout and more. You can rent the arena for your exercises or take a class from the dog agility team. The arena is welcoming all trainers to work with their customers or customers who wants to work with their own trainers.
Kopek dog agility arena has different classes for the customers to attend. The date and time of the classes can vary to the customers preferences.
Please stop by or call us anytime with questions.
